Usability Backlog
Thoughts (Themselves)
Thoughts will get a big redesign to be more minimalist and easy to edit in a big overlay
- Shift+N for duplicate and side menu duplicate
- Key combinations for edit thought in center ✔
- Open/copy source-url on second click
- Tab-to-tags on Firefox (Satya)
- Button „edit in notes“ on thought if too long
Layout (Thought Positions)
- Layout shouldn't shuffle on resize/stack-opening
- Fade all non-centered tags on readable thoughts
- Highlight tags of centered thought briefly to show connections
- Fade tags that are not currently relevant for showing a thought
Stacks
We're observing stack usage at the moment and will do those fixes if stacks are important to many users.
- Dropzone to create new stack
- Open stack while dragging a thought over them
- Edge case: Remove thought from stack when archived within stack -> Will be solved with thought redesign
- When editing a note in a stack, being able to move to the next note by pressing Tab and previous note by pressing Tab Shift, instead of having to use the mouse to click on the note you want to edit. And when there’s no note next to the current note, pressing Tab will create a new note. This way, you don’t have to use the mouse to click that plus button to create a new note. (Shu)
Other

- Pulsing Create-Button on startup

- Plus-button position ✔
- External-search-button for search content? (DDGo?)
- Stats l.u.; thoughts & thoughts taken care of
- Moments end: That’s it. Give your brain 10 seconds to relax. Fade in happy face.
- Split up codes for different extensions, maybe renew the code on new connection (check error messages)
